Menus and actions depend on your company's settings and your access. If something is missing, ask your company administrator.

Before you begin #

Have the intended work order available and permission to enter production batches.

Step by step #

  1. Open Production Batches and use Add.
  2. Select the Work Order and enter Batch No.
  3. Complete the available date/process/status fields.
  4. Enter Produced Qty, Rejected Qty and remarks as appropriate.
  5. Save and reopen the batch.
  6. Use the correct batch when entering material consumption or finished goods.

Understand the fields #

  • Work Order: the order this batch belongs to.
  • Batch No: identifies this production run.
  • Produced Qty: recorded produced quantity.
  • Rejected Qty: quantity recorded as rejected.
  • Remarks: production notes.

Check the result #

Check the batch/order linkage and quantities before downstream entries.

If something goes wrong #

If the work order is absent, check filters, permissions and workflow eligibility. Batch quantities and stock entries serve different purposes; do not duplicate stock movements.

On mobile #

Open the same module from the app menu. Use the record card or its actions menu. Scroll through the form before saving so that required fields and validation messages are not missed. Your permissions still apply.
