Record finished goods from production
Record produced output against the appropriate production batch.
Menus and actions depend on your company's settings and your access. If something is missing, ask your company administrator.
Before you begin #
Have the batch and actual finished-output quantities available.
Step by step #
- Open Finished Goods Entries and choose Add.
- Select Production Batch and the output variant/unit.
- Enter Quantity and Rate where required.
- Review Amount and remarks.
- Save and reopen the entry.
- Check the resulting batch/stock information before packing or dispatch.
Understand the fields #
- Production Batch: source of the finished output.
- Quantity: finished quantity in the selected unit.
- Rate / Amount: valuation information.
- Remarks: notes about the output.
Check the result #
Compare the entry with actual production output and relevant stock records.
If something goes wrong #
Do not use a finished-goods entry merely to force a work-order progress percentage. Inspect the intended batch and stock effect before retrying.
On mobile #
Open the same module from the app menu. Use the record card or its actions menu. Scroll through the form before saving so that required fields and validation messages are not missed. Your permissions still apply.
