Start and end a field-work day
Record your working day, location and the required kilometer/photo details.
Menus and actions depend on your company's settings and your access. If something is missing, ask your company administrator.
Before you begin #
Check device location permission, assigned work location and company photo/attendance policy.
Step by step #
- Open the available Start Day action.
- Enter required kilometer/photo details and allow location capture.
- If outside an enabled geofence, provide the required reason and submit the approval request.
- Continue your permitted visits/work during the day.
- Use End Day and complete its required details.
- Check Attendance Requests for any pending outside-geofence request.
Understand the fields #
- Start/End KM: odometer details where required.
- Geofence: compares the captured location with the assigned location/radius.
- Pending approval: is a request state, not a successful approval.
- Photos: follow the configured start/end policy.
Check the result #
Review start/end timestamps and request states. Both outside-geofence start and end requests are handled through Attendance Requests.
If something goes wrong #
If location cannot be obtained, resolve permissions before retrying. If the day is already active, inspect it rather than creating another day.
On mobile #
Open the same module from the app menu. Use the record card or its actions menu. Scroll through the form before saving so that required fields and validation messages are not missed. Your permissions still apply.
