Menus and actions depend on your company's settings and your access. If something is missing, ask your company administrator.

Before you begin #

Use the correct employee and company context. HRMS actions and fields are permission-controlled.

Step by step #

  1. Open HRMS and select Work Locations.
  2. Search and filter before adding a record to avoid duplicates.
  3. Use Add or Edit where available.
  4. Complete the required fields and the applicable dates/amounts.
  5. Save and reopen the record to verify it.

Understand the fields #

  • Name: Location name shown in employee setup and attendance reports.
  • Code: Short location code useful for import/export and reports.
  • Location Type: Classifies location as office, branch, site, warehouse or client.
  • Address: Printable/display address for the selected location.
  • Pincode: Postal code captured from manual entry or map reverse lookup.
  • Latitude: Map latitude used for geo attendance validation.
  • Longitude: Map longitude used for geo attendance validation.
  • Geo Radius Meters: Allowed check-in radius from the location point in meters.

Check the result #

Verify the saved employee, period and values. Defines offices, branches, warehouses, sites or client locations used for employee setup and geo attendance.

If something goes wrong #

For a missing employee or option, check its master record, active status and access. If a date or amount is rejected, correct the indicated field and retry without discarding the draft. Ask HR to confirm payroll/statutory values; do not guess them.

On mobile #

Open the same module from the app menu. Use the record card or its actions menu. Scroll through the form before saving so that required fields and validation messages are not missed. Your permissions still apply.
