Menus and actions depend on your company's settings and your access. If something is missing, ask your company administrator.

Before you begin #

Use the correct employee and company context. HRMS actions and fields are permission-controlled.

Step by step #

  1. Open HRMS and select Attendance Policies.
  2. Search and filter before adding a record to avoid duplicates.
  3. Use Add or Edit where available.
  4. Complete the required fields and the applicable dates/amounts.
  5. Save and reopen the record to verify it.

Understand the fields #

  • Name: Policy name used while assigning or identifying attendance rules.
  • Policy Type: Defines attendance rule category such as standard or flexible.
  • Grace Minutes: Allowed late-arrival grace before marking late.
  • Half Day After Minutes: Minimum minutes threshold used for half-day logic.
  • Full Day Minutes: Minimum minutes threshold used for full-day presence.
  • Allow Geo Fencing: Enables location-radius validation for attendance.
  • Allow Device Attendance: Allows device/mobile based attendance marking.

Check the result #

Verify the saved employee, period and values. Defines attendance rules such as grace time, half-day/full-day minutes and geo/device attendance controls.

If something goes wrong #

For a missing employee or option, check its master record, active status and access. If a date or amount is rejected, correct the indicated field and retry without discarding the draft. Ask HR to confirm payroll/statutory values; do not guess them.

On mobile #

Open the same module from the app menu. Use the record card or its actions menu. Scroll through the form before saving so that required fields and validation messages are not missed. Your permissions still apply.
