Use variant configuration groups
Organize the available configuration choices used for stock variants.
Menus and actions depend on your company's settings and your access. If something is missing, ask your company administrator.
Before you begin #
Configuration management requires the appropriate inventory permissions.
Step by step #
- Open the variant configuration-group screen.
- Add or edit the intended group.
- Review the available options and related variant configuration.
- Save and check the relevant item/transaction configuration picker.
Understand the fields #
- Group: organizes related choices.
- Options: values available for the configured selection.
- Applicability: determines the affected variant workflow.
Check the result #
Check a configured variant before using the change widely.
If something goes wrong #
If a choice does not appear, check its group, status and applicability rather than duplicating it.
On mobile #
Open the same module from the app menu. Use the record card or its actions menu. Scroll through the form before saving so that required fields and validation messages are not missed. Your permissions still apply.
